Friday night Alayna and I cleaned the house – she is such a good helper. Kinda makes me understand why that lady in Arkansas keeps having kids…what is she up to now 18? No wait that is just crazy! Sorry got side tracked, lol.
Saturday we left early for the cities and did not anticipate the terrible wind. At one point we thought our Jeep was going to leave the road. We took Alayna to see Elmo’s Green Thumb (Sesame Street Live) at the Target Center. She really liked it and just stared at the characters – her favorites are Ernie, Cookie Monster and of course, Elmo.
After the show we dropped her off at my parents since we had Brad’s company Christmas party. We had a good time and got home about 1AM! It has a long time since we have stayed out that late. The next morning Brad was up at 5:30 to go fishing in St. James with Nikko. Crazies! They kept 60 sunnies and had a good day but Brad was happy to get home and take a long nap with Alayna. Sunday night we had the Rollings Christmas at my Grandpa’s assisted living facility. Alayna had so much fun playing with my cousin’s kids Layla, Carter, Wylie and Jayden. We ate way too much and were shot when we got home. It was a really fun but tiring weekend. I’ll post pics from it soon!
