New Year's Eve we had dinner at the Olive Garden, went to Yes Man and then over to Brad's sister's to celebrate with the fam. It was a nice evening but we missed "Peanut"/"Sweets"(brad and my nicknames for Alayna) but she had a great time at grandpa and grandmas.
Brad was able to get a couple good days of ice fishing in on his two-week vacation and is officially hooked! It is a great hobby for him and it is nice that his brother-in-law, Nikko is available to go out.
The last couple days we installed a new TV (with the help of Nikko and Amy) and Brad put together a new bookshelf and toybox for Alayna's room. She now has more space in her room and her many books are somewhat organized.
Tomorrow we are serving coffee hour before church and then my dad and Brad are headed up to the Vikes game. Alayna and I will be chilling at home where it is warm! I guess this next week will officially be back to normal...whatever that is :-)
