Winter is still here

Boyz II Men concert was unbelievable - we had so much fun but the drive there and home was not. I think we drove 45mph the whole way home and stopped once to help someone out of the ditch. There were huge drifts and it was blowing like crazy - at times I wasn't sure where the road was. I suggested we stay at the casino hotel but Brad said it would be fine. He is a really good night/bad weather driver! I am sure I would have been in the ditch.

Saturday we stopped by the baby/toddler expo at the Alltel and then went to the mall. Alayna likes to play in the kids area by Scheel's and then Brad takes her on the carousel. Here is a pic of her with another little girl riding the Little Monster bus.

We ate and then cruised home for a family naptime and then took off again for a trip to Lafayette. One of the vets I work with raises sheep and had 10 lambs so we got to check them out. It was so cold and windy but Alayna liked seeing them.Then we went to a spaghetti dinner in North Mankato. Busy day but lots of fun! Today Brad went fishing and I stayed home still trying to get over this stupid cold. Alayna played with her toys and I layed on the couch so not too productive although I did make stew in the crockpot for supper. Hope you had a nice weekend!
