2 year update

Here is a quick list of what Alayna is up to at 2 years of age:

• loves music and dancing. We just got my grandmother's piano and she likes to sit and play.
• says, "I do it" and when she means business says, "I WILL do it!"
• chases our dogs
• says, "what's that?" and then repeats what you say
• copies daddy
• puts her own clothes on but we usually have to help with shoes and coat zipper
• says 2-3 words at a time (Alayna's shoe, bad puppies, you get back here)
• is a big fan of swimming
• likes listening to her CD's and will sing along.
• goes potty (we are going to get her big girl underwear soon) she is really close to being completely trained
• has fun playing with cousins, daycare friends and Sunday School friends
• still loves her babies
• watches Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
• enjoys Sesame Street movies
• helps put dishes away and clean up
• throws a nice tantrum but usually gets over it pretty quick
• fights going to sleep. Brad is the best at getting her to go to bed!
• sleeps in her own bed
• she is 33 3/4" tall (48%) and 23 pounds, 14 oz (15%). Her shirts are 2T-3T and her pants are 2T length is good but we usually have to fold over the waist otherwise they fall off.
• still eats most anything! She doesn't eat a lot at one time but usually eats small portions many times a day. Her favorites are pickles, tomatoes, ham, sausage, chips, fruit, cheese, pasta and pizza.
