It's hard to believe that a week has already gone by but we want to thank everyone for the incredible love and support. This past week was rough but we are thankful he is no longer in pain and all we can do is take it one day at a time and hold on to memories. I hope we can continue to laugh and hear stories that remind us about his character, love of sports, sense of humor and fun times. It is never easy to lose a loved one but the support, prayers and love from friends is a great way that God works through others to heal the pain. We are sad that Alayna won't know her Grandpa Hawker but she does know he is heaven with angels and it is our job to keep his memory alive and remind her of those great stories.
We are hoping for a relaxing weekend. Tonight we are going to friends to grill out, Brad has softball practice on Saturday and Sunday is Brad's 29th birthday! Hope you have a great weekend
