Sunday: Alayna's birthday party - swimming at the LC rec center. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool! Alayna loved it and even went down the slide a couple times.
Monday: We visited Bill in the hospital and got news that my grandpa ended up in the hospital with a herniated bowel. They kept him overnight. My mom and dad were up at the Twins opener but my aunt and uncle stayed with my grandpa and called with updates.
Tuesday: Bill came home from the hospital today. Brad and I went out for supper and then to the Nickelback concert with our friends Kala and Joe. It was such a GREAT concert - they really know how to rock it! Fun times but got home about 1:30 and got up a little before 6. Very tired....
Wednesday: I prob should be in bed right now but am catching up on Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. Thank goodness for DVR! My grandpa is now back at Hillcrest nursing home and doing well. Brad stopped over by his parents to visit and get filled in on everything since he will be staying Thursday night. Alayna and I played outside with the pups then went over to our neighbors. They have a 3 1/2 year old daughter, Mackenzie who has a Barbie Jeep. Her and Alayna took turns driving it. I wish I had my camera. Alayna would step on the gas to cruise around and then would say "WEE-HAW"!
