I have always been pretty amazed at how quickly kids pick up their vocabulary. Then when it is your own it seems to be that much more special.......until they start saying, "Whatever mommy" or call you by your first name. Yep, Alayna now enjoys calling me Ariane instead of mommy. What the #()*$#)? It is kinda cute and I think she got it just from hearing her cousins say it. I enjoy playing with the kids so I'll push them on the swings or pull them in the wagon and they all yell my name and I suppose Alayna feels like that is what she should do too, LOL! I guess it could be worse, right?
Tonight we had fun playing at the park in Kasota on our way home and then outside while Brad mowed lawn. She is getting pretty good at ordering the dogs around and at one point said, "Hunter get - go drink your water!" She also loves to stand on the deck with treats, make them sit and then throw treats. Here she is with a handful of treats but I couldn't snap the camera fast enough to get a good pic of Hunter & Dej'a before she threw the bones at them.
She also likes to take out her fishing pole and practice casting and reeling in.
I am guessing Bradley will be taking her out on the boat this summer!
