July 4th weekend

We had an eventful 4th of July weekend that was a lot of fun. Brad had Friday off so he took Alayna to Bill & Deb's to be with his siblings and their families. He also put new brakes on his car which he was pretty proud of. I had to work and joined them later at which time it started to rain...of course! No worries tho. Nikko grilled and we had a great meal together.

Saturday we played in a volleyball tournament in Elysian while my parents took Alayna to the St. Peter parade. Good times were had by all. We got poured on the first two games and we actually played our best match against the best team but it didn't help to have 2 drunk people on our team (yea, they had gone on no sleep and still wasted). We hung out and played bean bags then met my parents and Alayna at the Moondogs game. Fireworks in Kato were nice and then off to bed after a long but fun day!

Brad went fishing all day Sunday while Alayna and I went to church, ate at the Dam Store, played at the park and then took a dip in the pool/basked in the sun.
