Alive After 5

I have been told numerous times that I need to update the blog because I have gotten behind. I guess more people check it than I thought and I apologize to you avid readers! I'll do my best to recap.

A few weeks ago my cousin told me about "Alive After 5" in Mankato which is a small venue that takes place at a park from 5-8pm each Thursday in the fall. They have food vendors and a band that play while people just veg out either on a blanket in the grass or lawnchairs. We stopped down to hang out with my cousin and her little girl before Brad's softball game. It was a beautiful night (back on September 17) - we enjoyed relaxing and watching Alayna dance. The next day our picture was in the Mankato Free Press.
Brad and Ariane Hawker watch their 2-year-old daughter dance Thursday to the music of Brian Congdon (background) during Alive After 5 in Jackson Park in Mankato.
