Gopher BB

The other highlight was my dad taking us to the Gopher vs. Iowa men’s basketball game on Sunday night. This was Alayna’s first men’s basketball game (she has been to volleyball and football already).

We enjoyed a hotdog and chips and was good the entire game. She only asked to go potty once and never asked for any snacks or toys. We were really proud of how well she did! She would cheer when the gophers would score and each time out or break would look for Goldy. She really wanted to give him a high five but we weren’t close enough. She also knows the rouser quite well and spells out M-I-N-N-E-S-O-T-A as best as she can then waves her little fist in the air and shouts, “Goooooooooo, Gophers!”. The people around us were impressed and my dad was quick to announce that if she was good enough to play a sport she better not go to IOWA haha. The halftime show was a group of gymnasts from UND and they were phenomenal! We all enjoyed their performance. Here is a pic of Alayna & Grandpa watching the show.
