Sad day....

Brad received some awful news early Monday morning that a friend/co-worker had died in a house fire that very morning. It was such a shock and Brad along with several other Unimin guys have struggled all week. Unfortunately this is a good reminder that you are not promised the next day and focus on what is important in life because you never know if today will be your last. Brad remembers the good times of going ice fishing and playing softball with Hank. They greeted each other by calling out, "Hawkster" & "Hankster" and always had a good time at the Unimin Christmas party. I'll never forget Hanks laugh and the way he cocked his head, put his hands on his hips and cocked his head if there was a bad call in SB. We played in the Elysian VB tourney a couple times with him and his wife as well. With the amount of hours that the Unimin guys work, some can get quite close and spend more time with each other than their families so you can imagine how they are hurting. It has been a rough week and services will be Friday & Saturday. Our hearts go out to the family and friends affected by this loss!
