Last week was quite busy as we were out and about quite a bit. The weather has been so nice! I met friends for lunch on Thursday and Friday. I also got a haircut on Friday which felt great then we went to a birthday party for one of Alayna's friends. The party was at Holiday Inn Express so the kids ate and went swimming. Alayna had a blast and Brad hopped in the pool to play with the kids too.
Brad finally had a weekend off but we left him to enjoy sleeping in while we drove to a college friend's house by Brownton on Saturday. We really wanted to get together with some of the Ridgewater College volleyball teammates because one of the girls was home from Florida AND 3 of us had babies within 3 weeks of each other! Hayley (who now lives in Fort Meyers, FL) had a girl on Thursday, September 23rd, Melanie had a girl on Thursday, September 30th and I had a girl on Friday, October 8th. We have 3 other former teammates that are expecting in the next 6 weeks. If we all have girls, we could have our own little volleyball team!! Alayna played with the other kids while us girls visited. I wish we could do it every weekend it was so nice.
