Monkey See, Monkey Do

Alayna's new thing at my mom and dad's is running around yelling, "Hugh, Hugh"! Usually she calls him papa but ever since she heard my mom say it, well let's say we are in the monkey hear = monkey say, monkey see = monkey do stage. Ironically, she is going to be a monkey for Halloween since she also loves to climb and swing from stuff. The costume is adorable but after looking at magazines and websites where toddler girls are dressed up like princesses or lady bugs I felt like maybe we should get a different one. Then we put it on her and both were like, Naw! It's way too cute. I do think we should put a purple bow on so people know she is a girl tho!

Tonight as we were cooking supper I opened one cabinet to find a stuffed animal and another toy then when I opened the fridge I noticed her comb in the side. She is really quick to sneak things in like that since I know she can't open the fridge on her own...yet! I called Brad's mom to get her recipe for Swiss Steak since it is one of his favorites. We also found out that Alayna loves it too and three cheese potatoes. She is also a pickle and ketchup freak just like Bradley (separately of course, we haven't given her the opportunity to mixe them together but i am sure that is only a matter of time...ick)! Her other faves are apples, tomatoes, pretzels and bananas. Oooh, oooh, ahhh, ahh
