No agenda or game plan (& no Vikes game)

This weekend had absolutely no agenda or to do list which felt great! Unfortunately Brad had to work but he gets off at 2:30 so we have a good part of the day to hang out.

Saturday morning Alayna and I went to Sibley Park to walk in the Step Out Fight Against Diabetes event. It was a beautiful fall morning and we made sure to look at the goats and peacocks as well as hit the playground. We ran a few errands and came home for Alayna's nap. I got a lot done before she woke up and Brad got home. We played outside with the pups and blew bubbles before heading over to Brad's sister, Amy's. Nikko and Brad had gone fishing on Friday so they cooked up some sunfish and we had a really nice meal.

This morning I picked up my grandpa and took him to church. Afterwards we went to Woodland cemetary to check out the stone they had just placed at my grandma's grave. It is beautiful -both my grandpa and mom were pleased with how it turned out. We have a memorial in the works to put at Highland Park in Mankato because she always took the grandkids there. We have a granite bench and two trees that we hope to set in the next week or so. I think we are all excited to have a fun place in her memory. We then took him to his favorite restaurant McDonalds (i know, very upscale LOL) and we had a nice visit. It was neat to sit back and realize we had 4 generations at one table.
