Saturday morning Alayna and I went to Sibley Park to walk in the Step Out Fight Against Diabetes event. It was a beautiful fall morning and we made sure to look at the goats and peacocks as well as hit the playground.

This morning I picked up my grandpa and took him to church. Afterwards we went to Woodland cemetary to check out the stone they had just placed at my grandma's grave. It is beautiful -both my grandpa and mom were pleased with how it turned out. We have a memorial in the works to put at Highland Park in Mankato because she always took the grandkids there. We have a granite bench and two trees that we hope to set in the next week or so. I think we are all excited to have a fun place in her memory. We then took him to his favorite restaurant McDonalds (i know, very upscale LOL) and we had a nice visit. It was neat to sit back and realize we had 4 generations at one table.
