Well the guys (Brad, his two brothers and brother-in-law) took off early this morning to Baudette, MN for a fishing trip at Rainy River - Lake of the Woods. They made good time and checked in right on schedule. The guides drove them in a "bomber" to a 12x18 fish house about 9 miles out on the lake. Here is a pic of the house he sent via cell phone. 
They get a radio to use to contact the guides but that is it and will be on the ice until Tuesday. I can just about imagine the bonding that will be going on not to mention foul smells and who else knows but I am excited to hear their stories! I am really glad they took the time to take this trip together. The last time I talked to Brad he had just caught a 16" walleye.
