I was hoping to take Alayna to the pool at the recreation center on Sunday but on the way to church she threw up all over herself in the car seat. So I got to church and wiped her down as best as I could and drove back home. We just lounged the rest of the day at home. I had volleyball Monday so Aunt Crystal watched Alayna and Tuesday we went out to eat with Crystal, Amy and the kids while the guys were heading home from their trip. We decided that they should watch the kids one night so we can enjoy a meal out with no little monsters!
Anyway, Brad got home about 11pm on Tuesday and had a blast with the guys in the “man shack on ice”. They caught about 50 fish or so including cisco, walleye, and eelpout and fished non-stop - I can’t believe they didn’t sick of it. They also stopped at the Walker casino on the way home to try and win some big money and eat at the buffet. I’ll post some pics and I got some details but was told, “What happens on the ice, stays on the ice.” Too funny! Brad brought home gifts besides the filets. He bought Alayna a really cute summer outfit with fish on it and a nice scarf and hat set for me. Very sweet. It sounds like this will be an annual event as they are already planning next year’s trip and decided that they want to stay longer. I think it is a great tradition for them to start!
