Man have I been slackin’ on this! The last couple of weeks have been quite busy and fun so I do have good reason for not being on top of it. I took Alayna to the Paddlefish days parade where we met my aunt, uncle, cousin and her baby girl, Layla. Last weekend was the Blue Earth County Fair and no matter how old I get there is just something about it that I absolutely love! Friday night we went down to check out the animals and go on the rides.

We saw an "old pal", John Randle (former defensive tackle for Vikes) then Brad went to Lake Crystal to play softball while my dad and I took Alayna to the rodeo.

Saturday was the 1860’s baseball game! The guys had a lot of fun and we had a nice turn out. My mom was scorekeeper and Alayna & I also dressed up for the game. Seth came to watch....maybe next year he will play with Brad and my dad!
Alayna stayed at the fair with grandma and grandpa while Brad and I went to a bachelor/bachelorette party in Mankato. Brad went fishing on Sunday while Alayna and I went to the outdoor church service at the fair and pancake breakfast. She went on some rides then we headed home so she could take a nap and I relaxed outside. Later that night, we had friends over to grill out which was so nice!
