We have had some gorgeous weather all week and we were outside a lot! Tuesday night we did the Memory Walk at Sibley Park for Alzheimer's. My 87-year-old grandpa did the walk too...kinda....my parents pushed him most of the time. Alayna walked most of it and played on the playground. We then watched the MSU volleyball game and had a funny conversation:
Alayna: Are they all done playing volleyball?
Me: No, they are taking a timeout.
Alayna: They are all in timeout?
Me: Yep
Alayna: Ohhh, they are all NAUGHTY!
Me: Hahaha!!
Ooops, I forgot there is now more than one meaning of Time Out in toddler vocab!
Thursday night we went to Alive After 5 which is an event in downtown Mankato where people hang out and listen to a band. They also sell food and beverages. Alayna danced to the music and had fun playing with my cousins girls, Layla and Wylie. Then we went to Brad's SB game. I can't remember fall ball ever having such nice weather but I do remember them playing in snow so this is a welcomed change!
