Last Friday, we took Alayna to her first MN Wild hockey game. My mom was able to get tickets from a co-worker and the seats were fantastic. I don’t understand hockey all that well but I do enjoy the tempo and hard hitting. There were a couple good brawls and checks against the boards which is always a crowd pleaser.

As we cheered and clapped I had to laugh as I thought……“as parents we are trying to teach Alayna that hitting is naughty and unacceptable and here I am yelling and taking pictures of two grown men throw punches at each other”. Alayna has quite the appetite as she had a bag of apples, some chips on the way up, a hotdog at the game, some of grandpa’s hotdog, half a tub of popcorn and asked for a pretzel in the 3rd period (which she did not get because I thought her belly would explode, haha). She is petite so I have NO idea where she puts it all! Brad bought her a Wild hat. The Wild won 3-2 and we had a good time.

Brad and Alayna went grocery shopping on Saturday while I checked out a craft show and then we went to his sister’s for a Thanksgiving meal. It was delicious and nice to be with the whole family, even great grandpa and grandma Krummel.
I was able to get a lot of work in the house done on Sunday while Brad & Alayna were at his mom’s working on the house. We are hosting Thanksgiving for my parents, grandpa and brother and I appreciated the day to catch up on laundry, cleaning and organizing stuff for the meal. I did a bunch the night before and Thanksgiving day went very smooth! Brad and I make such an awesome team and I never have to ask him to help, which is nice. Everything turned out really well. Now I just can't eat for a week to make up for it! Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving
