I was able to get out of the office on Friday and spend the whole day at a sow farm in Prinsburg, MN. I hit the road about 4:30am to meet one of the vets in Lafayette at 5:30 and then we got the farm a bit before 7am and got home about 7pm. The reason was to help them do a herd census (record ID's of all sows in the unit) which I believe is about 2900 sows. I really enjoyed the day!
Brad picked up Alayna at daycare and took her out to Unimin for a tour. She loved seeing the big diggers and watching people move tracks and train cars. They got some time in at the park before it started to rain and then went to the pet store. Originally their mission was to check out the fish, birds and other critters and pick up dog food as they usually do although this time they came home with one of those critters....................

When I asked Brad if Alayna had asked for one and he said no it was all him I just laughed! I was not at all shocked since he is a big animal lover and was not mad since, of all things, a bunny is pretty low maintenance. Daisy is so cute ~ we all enjoy it!
