Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! I absolutely love this day and feel pretty special being a mom. Alayna gave me a cute card and picture frame (well done, Bradley!). We headed to church then had breakfast at the Rapidan Dam Store with my parents. Lounged around a bit until Brad got home from work. He gave me the sweetest card! We met my parents and brother at Highland Park in Mankato for a picnic since this is also the park that has the granite bench in memory of my grandma.

Brad is like a big kid when it comes to playing at the park with his little girl. I think they went down the slide about 30 times! The first few times she went on his lap and then the rest of the time she would run and go down first then say "Come ON daddy!". They both were moving pretty slow by the time we were ready to go home. She inhaled one of Grandma's rhubarb muffins on the way home and we all slept good that night!
