Nesting

We have kept the last two weeks in September pretty quiet to help us relax and get stuff done in preparation for our new little lady. We have been able to get a bunch of clothes and blankets washed, bassinette set up plus stocked up on diapers and wipes.
I purchased a book on once a month cooking so we could freeze meals and eat them after baby is born. Friday night we went grocery shopping and got stuff set out. I got up and had a nice breakfast with Alayna at and then started browning meat and prepping stuff at 7:00am. My came over about 9 and we whipped up 18 meals to freeze by 1:00! We made pasta dishes, pork ribs, chops, chicken drumsticks, swiss steak, meatballs, meatloaf, and so on. Alayna entertained herself the whole time and even “put herself” down for naptime! Brad got home and said the house smelled awesome and he was excited to eat everything. He flipped through the book to see what we made.
