Kalyse had her 2 month check up on December 14th. It was originally supposed to be the 9th but the doc was out of town so we had to go the following week.
Stats: 12 lbs, 22 3/4"
Oral vaccine went well
1st shot in left leg - squirmed a bit & looked at me like, what the heck was that?
2nd shot in right leg - little whimper and a look like "really? why did that happen AGAIN?"
3rd shot in left leg - big bottom lip out, hands into fists shaking, red face and WAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Awww poor little girl. After the band-aids were put on, I quickly picked her up, gave her a kiss, wiped away the tears and she was over it. Whew! I hate that part of check ups but she was a trooper and was perfectly content the rest of the day/evening.
Doc said she looked beautiful. I was concerned about her weight but he was not at all. I guess after Alayna was such a twig (ate well but took a while to gain weight) it is weird for us to have such a big baby! I know I know, I shouldn't compare so I'm trying not too. We are thankful she is healthy and doing well.
