July is almost over!

Man, it has been a busy week. I'll start with our night out. We had very nice dinner at Red Stone in Minnetonka and cruised over to the Target Center. Steve Winwood jammed then finished the set by playing Gimme' Some Lovin (if you don't know that song just think....Blues Brothers). Tom Petty was outrageously awesome and rocked the house for 2 hours - we stood for the entire set. We had the best time; I highly suggest seeing him if you get the opportunity!

We camped in Garden City all weekend for a family reunion. My dad's cousin's husband, Jim handcrafted this rocking horse for Alayna. It is absolutely beautiful and she loves hopping on it and rocking fast. It was so nice to see everyone.
Saturday Brad and my dad played SB in Rochester and we had to recruit Brad's brother-in-law since we were short people. They played 1880's rules (no gloves, wooden bats, if a hit bounces once and a fielder catches it the runner is out and so on). This is put on by the historical society so there were buggy rides, silent auction, dunk tank and activities for kids. Here is a pic of them in their uniforms. I think the guys had a good time and it was fun to watch!

Unfortunately we weren't able to meet up with friends at Paddlefish days or go to a friend's hog roast. We felt really bad that we couldn't make it to everything! Sunday we said goodbye's to the Wilson's and stopped by to see Grandpa's pigs..............
