Eventful weekend

Alayna watched the Duck Days parade at Grandma Hawker’s last Friday. Aunt Amy & Uncle Nikko watched her while we went to a Pub Crawl put on by the Blue Earth Historical Society. We had a nice time and Alayna had fun with her cousins!

Saturday was supposed to be the 1860’s baseball tournament but since no teams signed up we had to cancel it. That was a huge disappointment. Hopefully it will work next week as we are going to try again! We went to the Cherry Creek Days parade in Cleveland and enjoyed the nice weather.

About midnight, Alayna came in our room and she was burning up. She felt so warm and her temp was up to 103. We decided to wait until the morning and see how she was doing. We went to church and had a nice visit with my grandpa at Sibley Park. We checked out the animals and then went to the playground. Usually she spends an hour or more but that day she just wanted to cuddle and looked so out of it. Poor thing! So we took her to Express care in the mall as we thought it was an ear infection. Her ears were red but her tonsils were way worse so they put her on antibiotic. She had a good nap on Sunday and we went to Westwood for supper with my parents and brother to celebrate Father’s day. Very nice night to enjoy supper on the beach by the lake!
